Research at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Biology is focused around the biosynthesis, biotechnology and ecological roles of plant natural products.
The institute is well-equipped with analytical instruments (GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC-DAD, UHPLC-HRMS/MS), facilities for plant cell/tissue culture and plant growth under controled conditions as well as tools for molecular biology and protein work.
The institute is member of the 'Center of Pharmaceutical Engineering - PVZ'.
