Step 1-Selecting the courses

You can find a list of the pharmacy courses at the TU Braunschweig in the table module list, courses and ECTS.
Please select the courses you are interested in.

Step 2 - Check the selected courses

Please check the following points for the selected courses:

I, Is the course offered when you are in Braunschweig?

This information can be found in column D of the table  module list, courses and ECTS.
Some courses are only offered in the winter semester or only in the summer semester.
Please check whether all selected courses take place when you are in Braunschweig (winter semester/summer semester).
Please adjust your selection if necessary.
 

II, Are there any important notes about the course?

You can find this information in column E of the table  module list, courses and ECTS.
Please consider the notes on your selected courses (if available).
Do you still want to take the course?
Please adjust your selection if necessary.
 

III, Can the selected practical courses be combined in terms of time?

You can find this information in the tablepossible combinations of practical courses and block seminars
Please also refer to the document if you want to take the course Clinical pharmacy or Drug therapy.
Please check whether the practical courses and block seminars you have selected can be combined in terms of time.
Please adjust your selection if necessary.
 

IV, Please transfer the selected and checked (point A-C) courses into your Learning Agreement.

After submitting the Learning Agreement, the study programme coordinator of Pharmacy will finally check whether further adjustments need to be made.

Almost all courses in pharmacy at the TU Braunschweig start at the beginning of the lecture period and end at the end of the lecture period.

Please note:
Some practical courses in pharmacy start even before the lecture period begins (e.g. drug analysis). Some practical courses in pharmacy only take place during the lecture-free period (e.g. compulsory elective practical course). Information on this can be found in column E of the table module list, courses and ECTS.

Your personal timetable will be created when the Pharmacy timetable for your Erasmus semester has been completed.
For the winter semester this is usually in September and for the summer semester in March.
You will receive your timetable from the Pharmacy course coordinator (sgkpharmazie@tu-braunschweig.de).

Please note: due to the Corona pandemic, changes may occur at short notice. During the Corona pandemic, you will receive your timetable shortly before the start of the semester.

A. Homepage of the Pharmacy Department:
General information about the course can be found on the homepage of Pharmacy of the TU Braunschweig here.
Click on the semester in which the course (lecture/seminar/practical course) takes place. Here you will find further information on the course.
In which semester the course takes place can be found in column D of the table module list, courses and ECTS.

B. Stud.IP:
Stud.IP (Link) is the online platform of the TU Braunschweig. Here you can register for your courses. Afterwards you will receive all information about the course directly from the lecturer (via Stud.IP). You can also access course documents via Stud.IP.
You will receive instructions on how to register for Stud.IP from the Pharmacy course coordinator (sgkpharmazie@tu-braunschweig.de).
Please note: You can only work with Stud.IP once your "y-number" has been activated. You will receive your y-number from the International House of the TU Braunschweig after your arrival in Germany. You can only register for pharmacy courses in StudIP once you have set up your TU e-mail address (after your y-number has been activated).

Please also see the information under 4. Where can I get information about my courses?
After your arrival in Germany, you will receive your y-number from the International House. This number must be activated. Only then can you register for courses at Stud.IP. This process can take several days.

Recommendation:
You should arrive at least one week before the start of the course. Please note that some practical courses already start before the beginning of the lecture period (see column E of the table module list, courses and ECTS)

Many exams take place at the end of the lecture period and at the beginning of the lecture-free period. The repeat exams all take place during the lecture-free period. For this reason, you should not plan your departure directly for the end of the lecture period.
If you are taking the compulsory elective practical course, please note that this takes place after the end of the lecture period. Please note the information on the compulsory elective practical course in column E of the table module list, courses and ECTS).
