The Entrepreneurship & Innovation Group was once again part of the BAMM conference this year. The steadily growing community of seven management professors from Aachen, Bielefeld, Bonn, Braunschweig, Hanover, and Münster met this time at the University Club in Bonn. The Technical University of Braunschweig also arrived with a larger group of participants – our new colleague Julia Hennig-Cardinal von Widdern joined us right after starting her doctorate and was warmly welcomed by the community.
Based on the motto “Making an impact together,” in the focus stood an open exchange about management research. In formats such as round tables and open panel discussions, there was honest feedback, new perspectives, and constructive discussions on current research projects. Prof. Bastian Kindermann again made contribution, in which he addressed the transfer in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation as an important “third mission” of universities.
A special reason for our institute to celebrate was the presentation of the BAMM Awards: Till Böckmann received the award in the “Grand Challenges” category for his research.
We would like to thank the Bonn organizing team for hosting this thoroughly successful conference! The interinstitutional dialogue will continue next year—we are already looking forward to BAMM 2027 at RWTH Aachen University!
