You can find information about our current seminar on the german version of this website.
Here is an overview of the offered seminars:

 

Classical Seminar (every semester)

In the classical seminar special current topics of marketing are deepened, in particular in the area of Investitionsgütermarketing, Online Marketing and E-Commerce as well as internationales Marketing. In the context of the seminar in addition regularly excursions to and presentations of renowned enterprisestake place. The task of the students is - besides the regular participation in the seminar events - the preparation of a seminar paper as well as a lecture with discussion on the chosen topic. The participants receive a seminar certificate, if they achieve at least the grade "sufficient" in seminar work and lecture together.

The seminar certificate is a prerequisite for the preparation of a diploma thesis, student research project or scientific term paper in marketing and - depending on the examination regulations - for admission to the final examination.

The event will be led by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Fritz and his staff.

Interdisciplinary Seminar (every semester)

In the interdisciplinary seminar for students of the Master of Technology-Oriented Management, methods of interdisciplinary scientific work are applied. Students use theoretical research, for example current research results, or empirical analyses to independently solve research-related problems in subject areas at the interface of management and technology, to present them and discuss them in the group.

Joint International Case Studies (irregular)

In the course "Joint International Case Studies" real case studies are worked on together with students from St. Petersburg and Shanghai. The case studies deal with current cases of international companies and the results are presented to company managers. The event can be credited as a scientific seminar in the scope of 4 CP by all courses of study close to economic science and by ToM-Studiereden with larger scope of performance for 6 CP and thus equivalent to the interdisciplinary seminar.

The course will be held in English by Prof. Abel.
