Quick Facts

As a civil engineer with a specialization in engineering hydrology and water management and as an environmental scientist in the field of hydrology, my research interest lies in the understanding of hydrological human-environment systems and their interactions. With the HydRiv division, I work on the further development of methods, simulation models and tools for the prediction and analysis of hydrological extremes, the assessment of associated risks and the sustainable and flexible management of water management systems of the future.
