Certificate for international STEM talents

Are you studying engineering, natural sciences, mathematics or computer science – or are you currently doing a PhD in one of these subjects – and would you like to start your career in Germany soon? Then validate your language skills with the ‘German for Work’ certificate.

 

Your benefits

With our certificate, you can validate your specialised, job-related German skills and prove that you are well prepared for the German job market! You can include the certificate with your job applications to increase your chances of getting hired, as many employers consider it important that you can communicate confidently in German at work.

 

What are the requirements?

You’re eligible for the certificate if you’re pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or a PhD, at TU Braunschweig and have completed all four modules. Exchange students may also take part. The prerequisite is a completed German language level of at least B1.2.

Which modules are there?

There are four modules in total. You must complete all four modules in order to receive the certificate at the end. In total, you should plan two to three semesters for all modules.

How to obtain the certificate

Once you have completed all four modules, you can fill out the PDF form to apply for the certificate:

Send the completed form by email to daf(at)tu-braunschweig.de.

The certificate will then be sent to you.
