Thesis (Bachelor / Master)

If you are interested to write your thesis in the area of differential equations (in particular numerical methods for differential equations), adaptivity, model order reduction or data assimilation, you are very welcome to contact me.

Research interests

  • Simulation and control of flows and dynamical systems
  • Model order reduction, proper orthogonal decomposition, reduced basis methods
  • Adaptivity in model order reduction
  • Phase field systems
  • Data-informed methods, data assimilation

Current teaching summer term 2023

(Information about the lectures can be found in stud.IP)

  • Numerical methods for ordinary differential equations
