Funding is also available for ten to twelve-month research projects as part of dissertation projects based at German universities.
ERP Scholarships
Where: At a university in the USA
When: from 2026/2027
Duration of the programme: one or two years
Application deadline: 15 September 2025
The European Recovery Program (ERP) offers a monthly scholarship of 2,500 USD and a one-off start-up grant of 500 USD. The scholarship also finances a travel allowance of 1,000 USD and an annual tuition fee subsidy of up to 25,000 USD. For two-year Master's programmes, a two- to three-month internship in the public sector between the years of study is mandatory.
