The Chinese Students and Scholars Association Braunschweig and the International Student Support Team warmly invite everyone interested to celebrate the Lunar New Year Festival traditionally.

Lunar New Year Festival celebrates the start of a new year in the lunar calendar. It is the most important holiday in China and is also celebrated in many other countries around the world – for example in South Korea, Vietnam and Mongolia.

The programme includes traditional songs, dances and instrumental performances. The audience can also expect a fun lottery.

Ticket Sales:

  • 17 January 2026 from 12:00 - 16:00 at the sports hall Beethovenstraße
  • 19 - 22 January 2026 from 11:30 - 14:00 at the entrance to the canteen 1
