The working group “GoGeo!” was established to promote knowledge and data exchange in the field of geodata and geoinformation science and technology. The group brings together professionals, researchers, and practitioners who work with spatial data, geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, cartography, and related digital mapping technologies.
GoGeo! serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and strategic coordination. From this point of view, its primary objectives are to:
To achieve our objectives, we conduct regular activities focused on key thematic areas, including practical workshops that offer comprehensive insights into methodologies, techniques, and specialized software applications.

The upcoming workshops will be held in person at the Institute of Geodesy & Photogrammetry, Bienroder Weg 81, 38106 Braunschweig, in seminar room 038. Please register to participate in the workshops at igp-gogeo(at)tu-bs.de. The workshops build on each other thematically, but you are welcome to attend individual workshops upon request. Please bring your own laptop to participate.
