Rosetta: Philae lands on the comet - TU is participating!

On the 12th of November it's going to be exciting! The orbiter unit of the space mission Rosetta will deliver the lander to fulfil the first landing on a comet ever. Once on the surface of the comet the miniature laboratory will anchor to the ground and start its measurements. Two of the instruments on board the lander were designed under essential contribution of different institutes of the University in Brunswick

Simultaneously to the landig on Wednesday afternoon an event of the university will take place. From 16:45 on the landing will be broadcasted via ESA livestream and can be watched in an auditorium. The event will be narrated by professors of the university.
