The German Geophysical Society awards the Günter-Bock- Award to young Geophysicists for outstanding scientifical publications. Matthias Bücker has recieved the award for his publication "Long and short narrow pore models for membrane polarization" which was published in 2013 in the journal Geophysics with Andreas Hördt as co-author. The publication has arisen from his master theses "Die Membranpolarisation als Ursache des IP-Effektes in porösen Medien" from 2011.
The Award was presendet on 23th of March 2015 during the annual conference of the German Geophysical Societey in Hannover. Wie congratulate Matthias and wish him all the best!
