The scientists at the Institute of Communications Engineering at TU Braunschweig developed an extension of the new mobile communications standard that allows television and mobile communications to grow together. The "5G Media2Go" project started in October 2020 with a duration of two years. It will investigate whether 5G broadcast is suitable for supplying infotainment systems in vehicles.
