In the frame of the “International Symposium on Broadband Multimedia Systems and Broadcast (BMSB)” by the Broadcast Technology Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Prof. Reimers was awarded the “2020 Special Service Award” on 28. October 2020. This award recognized and honored his “many years of leadership and outstanding research of broadcast technology development and standardization”.
