What is a tropical rainforest? What is different there than here? Where do delicious fruits like the banana come from? Why don't they grow here?
Our search for clues begins in the tropical house. There, the children experience tropical weather and discover plants whose fruits they only know from the supermarket. The long journey of the fruit to our shopping carts is just as much a topic as the adaptation of the plant life artists to the special conditions in the tropical rainforest. The search for clues ends with small games and painting activities as well as a tasting of the delicious fruits in the classroom of the Green School.
