    Who knows the types of grain? What is the structure of a grain? What products can be made from grain? How was the grain milled in the past, how today?
These are all questions that are solved at hands-on stations. A highlight is making a bread dough to take home.

 	-     investigate, name, sketch and compare different types of cereals and their ingredients
  	-     learn about cereals as useful plants and which products can be made from cereals
  	-     test their fine motor skills in handling a millstone and a hand mill
  	-     explore and describe the history of agriculture from the Stone Age to modern agriculture
  	-     use a binocular properly

 	-     learn about modern agriculture compared to traditional farming methods; how does this staple food feed many people?
  	-     learn about the wide range of products based on the cultivation of cereals
  	-     Awareness raising regarding ecosystem services and biodiversity is initiated and promoted (e.g. importance of beneficial insects, comparison conventional farming - organic farming)
