Ronja Hänschen is a research fellow and PhD student at the Institute of International Relations since July 2023. Her research interest include global urban governance, digital governance and political administration. During her bachelor and master studies, she supported the Institute as student research assistant in the REPLAWA project and URBANORMs project. After her bachelor of Integrated Social Sciences, she studied the Master of Political Science at the Leibniz University of Hannover. She finished her studies with a master thesis on the steering of smart-city projects in Germany.
Currently, Ronja Hänschen is working on her PhD project on the role of city networks in the global diffusion of governance models.
