New Publication in Computational Urban Science

[Abteilung Klimatologie]

This publication addresses the question to what extent land use changes (e.g. due to urban growth or increase of green infrastructure) influence the spatial distribution of cold air pathways. During summer nights, cold air formation and dispersion are of particular importance for reducing urban overheating (urban heat island).
