Since 1.10.2021 Alberto Anselmo Iraheta Ramos is employed at the IGÖ in the junior research group Isodrones of Dr. Matthias Beyer. Alberto Iraheta comes from Honduras and is supported by the DAAD for 4 years to do his PhD thesis on groundwater recharge in the 'Central American Dry Corridor'. Alberto Iraheta will conduct field experiments in Costa Rica and Honduras and will study the recharge of groundwater in seasonally dry areas by means of labeling experiments with stable water isotopes.
