New projekt: Augmented reality applications for improved teaching in terrain hydrology

In March 2021, the project will start with the aim of improving the quality of education for students in geoecology and specifically in terrestrial hydrology in the bachelor's degree programme in environmental sciences. For this purpose, an additional digital learning offer will be developed along an excursion route in the Harz Mountains, which will provide extended access to the learning material. Pools of environmental and image data are planned, which can be accessed at certain stations during the excursion using an augmented reality app. Dr. Kai Germer is in charge of the project.
