The International Urban Climate Conference will take place in Rotterdam from July 7 to 11, 2025. The conference of the International Association for Urban Climate (IAUC), which takes place every three years, brings together urban climate researchers to present and discuss the latest research findings. After the last edition of the conference took place in Sydney, a European city has been chosen as the venue for this year's conference. The Climatology and Environmental Meteorology working group is represented at ICUC-12 with three contributions:
Jannik Heusinger and Stephan Weber: How to counteract increasing daytime ambient heat caused by higher building energy efficiency standards
Niklas Markolf and Stephan Weber: Carbon exchange of two large extensive green roofs
Aurélien Mirebeau, Cécile de Munck, Aude Lemonsu, Stephan Weber, Christine Delire, and Olivier Garrouste: Modelling green façades radiative exchanges within the TEB (town energy balance) urban canopy model
