Division 3 – Facilities Management

Since the assignment of building owner responsibility on 1 July 2018, Division 3 (GB3) is also responsible for all construction measures at TU Braunschweig in addition to the facilities management (FM) tasks. This includes the administration and management of buildings, land, facilities and technical equipment of the entire university.

Furthermore, the employees of the division ensure the supply of district heating, electricity, oil, gas and water.

GB3 carries out all construction work on the university’s own buildings under its responsibility. This includes building maintenance as well as all small and large-scale construction work on new buildings, conversions and extensions.

In this, the division works closely with the university institutions involved and with other parties within and outside the university.
