On October 7, 2026, we officially inaugurated the Ecoversity Hub. Following warm opening remarks by TU President Angela Ittel and the two Ecoversity co-directors, Anika Düring and Annika Kleinwächter, the guests enjoyed the event for networking. We would also like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone who supported us in creating the Ecoversity Hub, a multifunctional workspace.
The Technische Universität Braunschweig showcased its work at the Lower Saxony Day event, held from 12 to 14 June 2026, at two locations in Braunschweig city centre. Numerous interested visitors learnt about the diverse and forward-looking research being carried out at TU Braunschweig in the ForschungRegion tent and the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture tent. Together with other research institutions, the Technische Universität Braunschweig opened its doors and brought science and society together – very much in the spirit of the Ecoversity.
On 23 June 2026, the Technische Universität Braunschweig hosted the Future-Tech:Stage as part of the University:Future Festival (U:FF) 2026. The partner stage was organised by the TU Braunschweig Project House in cooperation with the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung, the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre and the Stifterverband. The Changemaker Café at the Ecoversity Hub provided a relaxed atmosphere for discussions with the speakers, for exchanging views on specialist topics and for networking. Professor Angela Ittel, President of the Technische Universität Braunschweig, was also on hand to chat with attendees. Book signings took place at the Changemaker Café with Rabea Rogge and Theresa Hannig.
