Excursion to the Söllingen Wind Farm

Upon arrival, the Landwind Group team will welcome us. For more than 20 years, the company has been planning, building and operating wind farms and large-scale photovoltaic installations. During the guided tour, you and your fellow international students will discover how a wind turbine works, from its initial project planning to the construction of the 164-metre-high machines.

You will also receive information on career entry opportunities at the Landwind Group. Afterwards, we’ll return by bus to Braunschweig, arriving at around 14:00.

Important information:

• Please bring sturdy footwear and weather-proof clothing.
• Meeting point: We will meet at 08:45 in front of the Natural History Museum Braunschweig (Pockelsstr. 10). We’ll depart from there by bus to the Söllingen Wind Farm.
