What‘s your nicest memory of Braunschweig and do you have a favorite place?

I particularly like the areas around the Oker and have fond memories of walks along the banks or canoe trips on the water.

Reasons why the TU Braunschweig is a great place to study:

Everything is very easy to reach by bike and the campus is centrally located. For me, a special feature of the study location is that it offers a very good mix of a family atmosphere and city life.

Which contents of your studies can you still use in your career today?

In addition to the internship experiences, individual lecturers had a great influence on me and I still regularly think back on the contents of their lectures and seminars in my everyday working life.

Are you still in touch with former fellow students? Do you see each other and if so, how often?

I still meet up regularly with some of my former fellow students several times a year, both privately and professionally.

What advice would you give current students for their personal career planning?

1. Use your time at university to gain practical experience: Go abroad, do internships and side-jobs.
2. Think outside the box.
3. Find mentors who will support you in your personal development.
