As I live in Hanover, I haven't really left. Braunschweig is part of the present for me, not just a memory. I'm often in Braunschweig, visiting friends. My favourite places to meet up are in the park by the Oker or in the Botanical Gardens. Or in one of the many cafés and bars.
Big city - not too big; lots of parks etc. that you can use even without money; you can quickly get anywhere in other cities, plus the Harz, Elm, the "Heide" nearby, the lakes and lots of nice cafés and pubs and also the fact that I've made friends there to this day.
Many as I work as an author and speaker in species conservation.

At least another 280 years! And that it continues to focus not only on reputation, but also on "little things" such as good vegan food in the cafeteria.
