Which contents of your studies can you still use in your career today?

The wide-ranging basic education, the contacts, but also the soft skills from project management and teaching activities (e.g. presentation skills) from my time as a research assistant.

 

Are you still in touch with former fellow students? Do you see each other and if so, how often?

Yes.

 

What advice would you give current students for their personal career planning?

Career progression is not only about ability, but also a lot about chance. The important thing here is to recognise and take advantage of the opportunities as they present themselves. A good education is an important tool for being able to utilise the opportunities.
