On September 8 and 9, 2026, the “ifo Dresden Workshop on Regional Economics” took place once again. The Technical University of Braunschweig has been co-organizing this event for over a decade (this year in collaboration with ifo Dresden and the Technical University of Dresden). This year, too, there were once again about a dozen outstanding presentations by early-career researchers in the field of regional economics.
