We will take you on a journey for insights that will lead us from an exciting lecture on the importance of viruses and fungi for us and our environment to the Institute of Genetics. There we will show you how we study viruses and fungi and let you explore the world of microorganisms under the microscope.

Such proteins are encoded by a gene that can be transferred to other cells and organisms using modern gene technology. During the expedition we will isolate DNA, demonstrate microinjections of DNA and microscope zebrafish embryos with fluorescent tissues.
