Closure on Whit Monday

The library is closed on Monday, 25 May 2026. It reopens from Tuesday, 26 May 2026.

Opening Times during the Lecture Period:

Mon – Thu: 10am – 6pm

Fri: 10am – 2pm

The Library for Social Sciences is closed on public holidays.

Loan periods can be extended in person, via e-mail (bib-sowi@tu-braunschweig.de) or by telephone (0531 391-8925). At the latest, the 5th extension must be made on site.

On bank holidays the Library for Social Sciences is closed.

Barrier-free Access

Barrier-free access to the Library for Social Sciences is possible via the main entrance of the building (Bienroder Weg 97). Please ring the bell on the outside of the entrance (button "EG rechts"). Then take the elevator in the foyer and press "E" (first floor). The door to the library is at the end of the corridor on the right. Alternatively, you can also call 0531 391-8925 so that we can open the door for you.
