An overview of the Ethics Commissions at the TU Braunschweig
As there are different contact points for different ethical issues at TU Braunschweig, the Ethics Commission (KEF) should be the first point of contact in case of doubt and serve as an interface to the other structures listed here.
If you are unsure who is the right contact point for your ethical questions, please contact the Vice President for Research and Early Career Scientists, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Hecker or the Head of Research Services, Andreas Hebbelmann.
Frequently asked questions about security-relevant research and the KEFs
For questions on topics such as "What does dual-use mean?", "What does the abbreviation KEF stand for?", "Which tasks do KEFs take on and which ones don't?" you will find an FAQ overview on the page of the Joint Committee on the Handling of Security-Relevant Research (an association of the Leopoldina and DFG).
The information brochure on "Umgang mit sicherheitsrelevanter Forschung in Deutschland - Auf einen Blick" can be found at Leopoldina.
