With its newly developed enterprise DSMZ Digital Diversity the Leibniz Institute DSMZ operates four internationally renown Global Core Data Resources, namely the Braunschweig Enzyme Database BRENDA, the Ribosomal RNA Database SILVA, the Bacterial Metadatabase BacDive and the List of Prokaryotic Names with Standing in Nomenclature LPSN. Furthermore, DSMZ offers a third generation sequencing platform (Pacific Biosciences Vega and Oxford Nanopore GridIon) for research collaborations to BRICS researchers.
