Successful PVZ Summer Seminar followed by Summer Party

This year's PVZ Summer Seminar took place on 24 June. Researchers from the various PVZ research groups came together to present and discuss current research activities, innovative methods, and new project ideas.

Through concise and creative pitch presentations, participants gained insight into the diverse subject areas covered by the PVZ. The presentations ranged from methodological developments and technical innovations to current research projects. The subsequent Q&A sessions and discussion forums provided numerous opportunities to delve deeper into scientific questions and develop new approaches for future collaborations.

The program was complemented by a poster exhibition organized by the research groups. The posters showcased research projects, methods, equipment, and fields of work, facilitating an in-depth professional exchange that transcended the boundaries of individual disciplines.

The award for the best “Cooperation Idea” went to Manuel Reuning (Institute for Particle Technology – iPAT) and Anna-Lina Kelsch (Institute for Thermodynamics). In addition, Daniel Jupke (Institute for Particle Technology – iPAT) and Christopher Heidenreich (Institute for Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy) were honored for the best presentation.

A key objective of the event was to promote networking within the PVZ. The wide range of topics and the high level of participation by researchers once again underscored the importance of interdisciplinary exchange for successful research and innovation.

The day concluded with a joint summer party featuring a BBQ. In a relaxed atmosphere, conversations continued, new connections were made, and interdisciplinary exchange was celebrated.

The PVZ would like to thank all speakers, poster presenters, guests, and the organizing team—with special thanks to Irina Ihnatenko—for this successful event. The day was rounded out by the team of moderators—Jan-Henrik Finke, Ingo Kampen, and Sven Gutperl—to whom we also extend our heartfelt thanks.
