  • Since 2013: Responsible for mass spectrometry analyses in Susanne Engelmanns lab adopting and developing several methods and techniques for usage with our Orbitrap Velos pro MS
  • 2010-2013: Starting with Microbial Proteomics at Kathrin Riedels lab
  • 2005-2010:
    Adopting the GC-MS technique for metabolome analyses at the Institute of Microbiology and successful development of an absolute quantitative metabolomics procedure for Aspergillus niger, Yersinia pseudotuberculosis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa
  • 2002 – 2004: Development of an in-situ bioremediation procedure for a PAH and cyanide highly contaminated former gas work site (semi-technical scale)
  • 2000 – 2001: Restauration of a hypertrophic pond by microbiological nutrient transformation and fixation
  • 1998 – 1999: Development of experimental microbiological tests for prediction of long-term emissions from landfills
  • 1997 – 2000: In-situ bioremediation of a Diesel-contaminated site (unsaturated zone) with development and monitoring of an in situ nutrient supply
  • 1994 - 1995 Scientific and technical engineering and proof of proper operation of the world-wide largest and first floating biofilter ("Silbersee" near Wolfen, Germany)
  • 1992 - 1997 PhD-student in the group of Prof. Dr. H.H. Hanert, thesis about ecophysiological and ecotoxicological analysis of landfill mining with mechanical biological treatment of the waste
  • 1991 - 1992 Diploma thesis about verification of biological degradation during an in situ bioremediation of a solvent highly contaminated site
  • 1985 - 1992 Study of biology at the University of Cologne and the TU Braunschweig
