The Gauß IT Center equips your workstations with devices, the necessary software, and network connections, and ensures secure operation and connection to the central servers for administrative tasks. We also provide printers that are integrated into the infrastructure via print services. Our services include maintenance, repair, replacement of the devices provided, and the procurement and supply of consumables.
The hardware and consumables for SAP workstations in institutes and facilities must be provided and maintained by the institute or facility itself. Please note that we do not make backup copies of your local data. Requests for new purchases or significant changes must always be submitted to us in advance (budget planning) via a user request. In this context, you must also consult with us to discuss the possibilities for implementation. Deviations from the standard equipment must be requested from us via a user request. Here, too, you may need to consult with us in advance about the possibilities for implementation. We cannot provide support for hardware and software procured by users or privately.
