Procurement advantages can only be achieved through coordinated procurement. To this end, the procurement activities of individual institutes and institutions should be coordinated with the Gauss IT Center.
The Gauß IT Center coordinates the procurement and provision of cross-institutional software licenses for the university. Please contact us if you require assistance. We will coordinate further steps, such as surveys, contract conclusion, or cost allocation. We manage the license servers and document access to the software.
GITZ takes over the complete administration of the systems. The user institutions are responsible for financing, which can come from their own funds, faculty funds, or central funds. The spectrum of licenses ranges from a small license package that requires corresponding license servers to a nationwide framework agreement in which TU Braunschweig participates centrally.
