The International Students' Office at AStA aims to achieve the following goals:
Representation of international students: Actively advocating for the perspectives and needs of international students in university committees and decision-making processes.
Intercultural exchange: Organising events that promote cultural dialogue and understanding.
Networking and collaborations: Building and maintaining relationships with other student initiatives.
Event management: Planning and hosting cultural, educational, and social events tailored to international students (like Consultation hours, International GeoChallenge, International Kicker Tournament).
Communication and public relations: Developing effective communication channels to inform and integrate international students.
The Association of Chinese Students and Researchers in Braunschweig is an organisation for Chinese students and researchers in Braunschweig and the surrounding region.
The association aims to enrich student life by organising a wide range of cultural, sporting and academic activities, to promote intercultural exchange between China and Germany, and to provide a platform for information, exchange and mutual support.
The Autonomous Department for International Students provides support with any problems or difficulties faced by international students. It is elected by the General Assembly of International Students.

Our aim is to create a welcoming environment where students can build friendships, share experiences, and help each other navigate academic and cultural life in Germany. Being far away from home can often feel overwhelming, especially for new international students, and the Indian Student Community strives to create a sense of belonging and comfort so that students feel at home even while living miles away from their families and familiar surroundings. Through social events, cultural activities, and peer support, we aim to strengthen the Indian student network while also promoting cultural exchange and inclusivity within the international community at TU Braunschweig.
The Malaysian Braunschweig Association (MBA) is a student association at TU Braunschweig founded in 2025.
We exist to make international students feel genuinely at home in Braunschweig. Through cultural events, workshops and community gatherings, we bring people together across nationalities and backgrounds. We share Malaysian and Southeast Asian culture, from food and celebrations to the values behind them, and run practical sessions on career development and fitting into life in Germany.
