About 2,000 people work at Alstom in Salzgitter developing and manufacturing modern rail vehicles. In support of climate-friendly mobility, they build battery, hydrogen and electric-powered trainsets, regional and urban rail systems, and bogies. On the excursion, organised by the International Career Service, you’ll gain exciting behind-the-scenes insights.
Your day at Alstom begins with a theoretical keynote speech on bogies. Afterwards, you can relax and chat with Alstom Group employees over lunch (at your own expense). You will then take a tour of the production facility, where you will see how theory is put into practice. A special highlight awaits you in the company's own train museum: a brief journey through the history of rail vehicles. Finally, you will receive detailed information about your entry-level opportunities and career prospects at Alstom.
Meeting point: You will meet the International Career Service team at 9:00 at the Braunschweig Natural History Museum (Pockelsstr. 10) and travel together by bus to the Alstom plant in Salzgitter. After the tour, you will take the bus back to Braunschweig, where we will arrive at around 17:00. The team of the International Career Service looks forward to an exciting day with you!
