On 22 April, the research partners involved in the project "Wooden Wedge Joints as a Repair Method" met for a final meeting and to brainstorm possible follow-up projects.
Werkstätte für Denkmalpflege GmbH Quedlinburg had invited the group to a tour of its workshops and the concert hall of the former Liebfrauenkirche in Wernigerode. As part of the conversion and renovation, extensive work is currently being carried out on the late Baroque church, built in 1762, and on the bell tower, erected in 1890.
We look forward to a possible future collaboration!
