On 15 April 2026, Ms Katrin Vögele successfully defended her doctoral thesis, entitled “Experimental investigation and modelling of two form-fit joints made of timber and modified timber-based materials”, at TU Braunschweig. The thesis was written as part of her work as a research assistant at IBHolz. In addition to her subsequent practical work at the engineering firm schaerholzbau ag in Switzerland, she took the time needed to finalise her dissertation. We are delighted with this achievement.
