Hi, my name is Svitlana. I'm from Ukraine. War divides my life into "before" and "after". I decided not to stop and look for new opportunities and ways in a new country in a new reality. I want to continue doing science and gain new knowledge and experience, skills, and opportunities for a new start. In Ukraine, I defended my PhD thesis (research of populations of rare plant species) and worked at the Sumy National Agrarian University at the Department of Horticulture and Forestry. I will be glad to gain new knowledge and experience by participating in the project on measuring stem water content in trees with the Isodrones team at the Institute of Geoecology in TU Braunschweig. I hope I can also bring something new and useful to Isodrones team!
