The Annual Conference of the German Soil Science Society (DBG) 2025 will take place at the University of Tübingen.
The conference theme is #HealthySoilsClimateProtection. The Soil Science Department team is representing TUBS with four poster presentations on the following topics: soil education in schools, the impact of the war in Ukraine on soils, soil carbon, and the application of biochar in soils. In addition, Jannis Bosse gave a talk on extending the measurement range of the simplified evaporation method using moisture sensors.
