Welcome to the IGÖ!

[Institut für Geoökologie, Abteilung USA]

Hiroshi Jinguji is a professor at the Faculty of Food and Agriculture at Fukushima University, Japan. He is at the TU Braunschweig for his research sabbatical and is working on the ecology of Sympetrum dragonflies, which play an important role in the ecology of rice fields in Japan, but also a special role in the culture of the country. In the Landscape Ecology working group, we are also working on Sympetrum as part of a DFG project and are therefore particularly pleased about the expertise that Hiroshi makes available to us
