Violet Onsongo is a Ph.D. candidate in the Ware Lab at the American Museum of Natural History, New York. Her research focuses on the evolution of dragonflies, particularly the phylogenomics, ovipositor morphology, and egg-laying behavior of the family Gomphidae, as well as the systematics and biogeography of the widespread dragonfly genus Orthetrum. As an Annette Kade Graduate Fellowship awardee, she is visiting TU Braunschweig, where she is collaborating with Prof. Frank Suhling on the ecology and behavior of gomphid dragonflies. We are very much looking forward to working with you!
