We welcome Lillina Ruiters to the Environmental Geochemistry Research Group! Lillina will be conducting research as part of her PhD thesis on ‘Changes in nutrient input into the Arctic Ocean’. Part of her doctoral research will take place at GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research in Kiel, in collaboration with the Alfred Wegener Institute in Bremerhaven. During her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Lillina focused on marine biogeochemistry and the dynamics between the ocean and the atmosphere. With this background, she will be strengthening our marine chemistry research at the IGÖ. We look forward to working with her and wish her every success! A very warm welcome!
