The TU Braunschweig mourns the loss of Heiko Karl Cammenga, who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 87.
Heiko Cammenga was a university professor at the Institute of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry from 1977 until his retirement in 2003, where he headed the Department of Applied Physical Chemistry. Both his diverse practical scientific work and his forward-looking collaboration with the AiF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft industrieller Forschungsvereinigungen) have shaped the institute over the years.
