If we process your personal data, you have the following rights as a data subject:

Purposes for which the personal data will be processed
Your e-mail address will be processed exclusively for the purpose of sending our newsletter for international applicants and prospective students. With the newsletter we inform you about current application and enrolment phases, news about studying at TU Braunschweig, helpful application tips, events for prospective students and experiences of international students and alumni. The newsletter serves to inform and promote studying at TU Braunschweig.

Legal basis for processing

• The data subjects' personal data is processed on the basis of their consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Duration for which the personal data is stored or, if this is not possible, the criteria for determining this duration
The personal data of newsletter subscribers will be processed until cancellation by the subscribers.

Recipients or categories of recipients of the personal data
Order processor:

• Provider of the newsletter software

Intention of the controller to transfer the personal data to a third country or an international organisation
Personal data will not be transferred to a third country. A transfer to a third country is also not planned.

Obligation to provide the data
There is no obligation to subscribe to the International Application Newsletter. Persons will not suffer any disadvantages if they do not give their consent to be included in the International Application Newsletter.

The personal data is collected directly from the data subject.

Automated decision-making
Automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.
