Visit the centre of Europe’s horticulture through the backdoor: this unique winter school combines in-class seminars with ethical and policy reflections on the history of water management, the dynamics of labour migration and the transition to renewables capitalism, with real-life experience and conversations with the inhabitants of Almería, living and working at one of Europe’s edges.

This initiative takes place at the University of Almería in Almería, Spain and is organised through a collaboration between the University of Antwerp, the Center for the Study of Migrations and Intercultural Relations (CEMyRI) of the University of Almería, and Atlas Center for Bioethics. Learn more
