Join the European Solidarity in the Making winter school and explore what European solidarity means in the global context of international migration. Experts from different disciplines will introduce you to its social and political dimensions. During a field trip to Brussels, you will engage with policymakers and explore current EU debates and tensions. In Antwerp, activities with migrant support organisations will give you first-hand insight into the realities on the ground.

Throughout the winter school, you will have the opportunity to exchange perspectives with fellow participants, reflect on what you have learned, and present your findings to the organisers and social partners. Discover more

The winter school is designed for PhD candidates and final-year Master’s students. It welcomes participants from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, with the aim of creating an interdisciplinary and intercultural group, as peer-to-peer learning is an essential part of the experience. Young professionals holding a Master’s degree are also encouraged to apply.
