What‘s your nicest memory of Braunschweig and do you have a favorite place?

There are many wonderful memories. The "Burgplatz" at Christmas time definitely belongs on your bucket list.

A great city and a university campus that is easy to explore by bike. A university with a good reputation and high-quality education in a beautiful setting.

Which contents of your studies can you still use in your career today?

Enthusiasm for a great career! Generally, a good, high-quality education covering the most important fundamentals. Even though experience only comes after graduation, the foundations were laid during my study days.

Are you still in touch with former fellow students? Do you see each other and if so, how often?

Yes, friendships and business relationships have grown. I work with some of my former fellow students regularly, while I meet others in projects or association meetings.

What advice would you give current students for their personal career planning?

1. Draw up a master plan for 5 and 10 years and stick to it in principle.
2. Do what you are really interested in and what you enjoy. Work can actually be fun, too!
3. Be open for opportunities and review your master plan regularly.
